Reviewing Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the editorial board to assess their relevance, originality, and adherence to IJAIKE’s submission requirements. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic criteria may be returned to authors for revision or declined without external review.
Eligible manuscripts are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant field.
Reviewers assess submissions based on the following criteria:
- Originality and significance of the research
- Clarity and coherence of presentation
- Soundness of methodology and analysis
- Relevance to the journal’s scope
- Contribution to the advancement of AI knowledge and practice
Based on reviewer feedback, the editorial board will make one of the following decisions:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
Authors will receive a decision letter along with anonymized reviewer comments and, if applicable, revision instructions.
Authors are expected to address all reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript along with a detailed response letter. Revised submissions are typically re-evaluated by the original reviewers. The revised paper should be returned as soon as possible; normally, authors will have 4–6 weeks to complete their revisions.
Once the manuscript meets all editorial and reviewer expectations, it is formally accepted for publication. Electronic publication will occur online first immediately upon receipt of the final version of the accepted article, provided all pending obligations, such as payment of applicable APC charges, have been fulfilled. Authors will be notified, and the manuscript will proceed to final formatting and production.
IJAIKE upholds the highest standards of publication ethics. Reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality, declare any conflicts of interest, and provide objective, constructive feedback. Authors are encouraged to disclose any ethical approvals, funding sources, or conflicts of interest during submission.
