Submission Procedure

JAIKE Journal has deployed the Clarivate ScholarOne Manuscript Central system for managing manuscript submissions, setting up the editorial workflow, and tracking our editorial tasks. Please submit your original manuscript in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) for possible publication via an ONLINE Submission Link.. If you have not used the Manuscript Central site before, or don’t have a Log In ID, you may be asked to create an account.
- Authors should submit their manuscripts using the following ONLINE Submission Link: https://mc04.manuscriptcentral.com/jaike
with the subject line: “IJAIKE Submission – [Paper Title].” Submissions must follow the IJAIKE Manuscript Submission Requirements.
You will be asked for the basic information about the paper (title, authors, contact information, abstract, Paper Type, etc.). You may be asked to confirm several declarations about your understanding of the submission requirements. The last item in the form may contain 3 survey questions. Replying to these questions is a mandatory part of the submission procedure, and your submission cannot be processed without these answers. The online form also explains how to upload your manuscript in a preferred Word format to the Manuscript Central Submission Management System. There is no charge to submit an initial manuscript, but there will be a publication fee, commonly referred to as Article Publication Charges (APC), once the paper is accepted for publication.
Upon receiving the manuscript, the editorial office will send an acknowledgment email within 3-7 business days. If you do not receive confirmation, please follow up to ensure successful delivery.
The editorial team will conduct an initial screening to assess the manuscript’s relevance, originality, and adherence to submission requirements. Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements may be returned for revision before peer review.
Eligible manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers. The process typically takes 4–8 weeks. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on scientific merit, clarity, methodology, long-term reference value, content quality, and contribution to the advancement in the field of AI and Knowledge Engineering.
Based on reviewer feedback, the editorial board will make one of the following decisions:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
Authors will be notified via email, along with reviewer comments and revision instructions if applicable.
If revisions are requested, authors must submit the revised manuscript within the specified timeframe, along with a detailed response to reviewers’ comments. Delayed resubmissions may be treated as new submissions.
Once accepted, the manuscript will undergo final formatting and proofreading. Authors will receive a galley proof for approval before publication. The article will then be published online under IJAIKE’s open-access model.
